<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch position detecting apparatus for an automobile door lock, which achieves inexpensive and stable detection over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The latch position detecting apparatus for the automobile door lock, has a first arm 9c and a second arm 9e. The first arm 9c is pivotally mounted on a body 1 so as to connect the other side surface of the body 1 to a housing portion 1a, protrudes toward the interior of the housing portion 1a, and is engageable with a cam 4c provided for a latch 4. The second arm 9e is exposed to the other side surface of the body 1. The apparatus is comprised of a detecting member 9 for being rotated in association with movement of the latch 4 from an open position to a full latched position or vice versa. Further, a detecting switch 10 is arranged on the other side surface of the body 1 so as to be operated by the second arm 9e.</p> |
