PURPOSE: Provided is rubber materials to improve fire-retardancy and high temperature adaptability required to rubber products to be used in hot environment or combustible environment, such as automobile engine. CONSTITUTION: The rubber materials use chloropolyethylene (CPE) as a source rubber and contains aluminium hydroxide as a functional additive. The aluminium hydroxide is added in 20 to 100 weight parts based on 100 weight parts of source rubber and preferably 40 to 60 weight parts to provide effectively the fire-retardancy. Alternatively, synthetic phosphoric esters-based fire-retardants can be used. The phosphoric esters-based fire-retardants are, for example N,N-bis(diphenylphosphoro)diaminohexane (BDPDH) or diphenylbutylamidophosphate (DPBAP) The BDPDH is added in 50 to 30 weight parts based on 100 weight parts of the source rubber.
