PURPOSE: A passive balancer of a lubricationless pulse tube refrigerator is provided to enhance the entire stability of a lubricationless pulse tube refrigerator by supporting a passive balancer at the lower end of a drive unit of the refrigerator perfectly with nuts and to set the exact vibration by adjusting the refrigerator with fineness. CONSTITUTION: A passive balancer(17) is mounted at the lower end of a hermetic shell(11) of a drive unit to reduce the vibration of a lubricationless pulse tube refrigerator. To mount the passive balancer, at least one hexagonal nut(21) is connected to the lower end of a connecting shaft(14) to prevent a balancer body(19) from being separated from the connecting shaft and to function as a weight for controlling vibration. A thin support member(23) is protruded to an end of a nut body(22). When the nut is connected to the lower end of the connecting shaft, the support member is inserted into leaf springs(18) and the connecting shaft tightly through a connecting hole(20) of the balancer body. The support member supports the leaf spring in a radial direction effectively as well as supports the nut. The balancer body is supported with the perfect stability by the nut at the lower end of the hermetic shell. Therefore, the fine vibration of the passive balancer is controlled exactly. The vibration of the refrigerator is minimized.
