PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided, in which a pair of trigger electrodes and a pair of sustaining electrodes have dielectric layers with different thickness, to thereby achieve an improved luminance and efficiency through an increased discharge distance. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a pair of sustaining electrodes(44,46) for performing sustaining discharge; a pair of trigger electrodes(40,42) interposed between sustaining electrodes, and which generate a trigger discharge for inducing sustaining discharge of the sustaining electrodes; and dielectric layers formed to have different thickness onto sustaining electrode and trigger electrodes. Dielectric layers include the first dielectric layer(48) formed between trigger electrodes and sustaining electrodes; and the second dielectric layer(50) formed onto the first dielectric layer in such a manner as to cover sustaining electrodes. |
