METHOD FOR FABRICATING AVATAR USING IMAGE DATA AND AGENT SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating an avatar using an image data and an agent system using the same are provided to satisfy various desire of user, reduce a load of user side, be effectively capable of processing a data, manage a daily routine such as personal information and schedule, and transmit a message with an avatar image to other user by fabricating one's avatar to a shape which shows a characteristics of a user, providing a service fabricating an avatar. CONSTITUTION: A server for fabricating an avatar receives an image data of user transmitted through a network(s10). A process limits an area in order to create the avatar suitable to facial size of user among an image showed on the screen image(s12). The process removes a noise from the image in the isolated area, when the area for fabricating the avatar is limited.(s14). The process extracts an edge through a calculating process by a sobel mask, when the noise of the image is removed(s16). The process performs a labeling in order to separate it from the isolated area, when the edge image is gained from the image of user(s18). The process sequentially performs a size verification process and a shape verification process about the separated and the isolated area by the labeling(s20,s22). The process performs a group set process extracting an area making up of a pair among an eye area(s24). The process extracts a real eye area(s26). The process creates the avatar face facing the front through a tilt proofreading process(s28). The process extracts the remaining components of the avatar such as a facial shape, a head shape, an eyebrow, a nose, a mouth, and ears.(s30).
