PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a terminal connected to WWW from a server. SOLUTION: The terminal is equipped with a browser and Cookie for accessing the server, the terminal number is set in the Cookie, and the server specifies the terminal by comparing the terminal number read out of the Cookie with a terminal number registered on the server. The connection confirmation of the terminal is decided from the IP address assigned to the terminal. When the terminal is a mobile terminal, a user is made to input the terminal number, which is compared with the terminal number set in the Cookie. Further, the correspondence relation among a user ID inputted by user or the IP address assigned to the terminal and the terminal number read out of the Cookie is confirmed. |
