PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure for an electrical apparatus housing box which causes a metallic box body to be fixed to a building material by using a metallic fixture while the electrical insulation of metallic member housed in the box body is surely secured. SOLUTION: This fixing structure causes a bottom plate 21 of the metallic box body 2 to be fixed to the attaching surface of the building material while the electrical insulation of the bottom plate 21 from a metallic fixture 6, such as a wood screw, etc., is secured. A fixing hole 3 having a reduced-diameter section 31 on the top side and an expanded-diameter section 32 on the bottom side is bored into the bottom plate 21. A U-shaped insulating spacer 4 is attached to the reduced-diameter section 31 with the notch 41 of the spacer 4 downward, and the bottom plate 21 is fixed to the building material with the fixture 6.
