PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the transmission ability of each transmission by drastically reducing the number of components in constructing transmission series. SOLUTION: When constructing the transmission series provided with a plurality of transmissions of simple planetary roller structure having a sun roller, a planetary roller, and a ring roller as friction rollers, a plurality of transmissions are prepared corresponding to respective cells S (i:j) necessary for a matrix M formed of a plurality of inside diameter dimensions Ri and a plurality of nominal change gear ratios Ai of the ring roller. The change rate of the inside diameter dimension Ri and the change gear ratio Ai are correlated so as to incorporate the sun rollers of the same standard outside diameter in the transmissions prepared corresponding to the cell row on the diagonal of the matrix M and the commonly systematized sun rollers can be used in common to the transmissions corresponding to a plurality of cells in the series.
