<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion valve in which the number of component parts constituting a pressure container is reduced and a seal member is not needed. SOLUTION: A valve device 10 having a function acting as a thermal sensitive part and a function acting as a valve member is covered by a first half shell 11 and a second half shell 12. A body block 13 constituting a pressure container outside it is integrally constituted by molding resin through an insert molding operation. Due to this fact, the pressure container can be constituted only with resin molded component parts and the container is molded in such a way that the valve device 10 is covered from outside, resulting in that the seal member is not needed. In addition, the first half shell 11 and the second half shell 12 are formed into a shape which can assure a refrigerant passage communicating with refrigerant, pipe passage connecting holes 2, 3, 4, 5 near the valve device 10.</p> |
