PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for an outer wall of a building allowing the use of a member in common in the specifications of exposing the facing material of an outer wall panel to the outer face and the specifications of using another exterior finishing material different from the facing material, and capable of making construction in common to improve construction efficiency. SOLUTION: The facing material 2 is stuck to the outer surface of at least a panel frame 1 to form the outer wall panel A as a basic panel, and the panel is erected in an outer surface of a building skeleton. A joint between the end parts of the facing materials 2 of the adjacent outer wall panels A and a joint between a column cover 5 disposed on the outer face of a column 4 of a building are filled with a joint material 7 to achieve water-proofed joining. In the case of specifications of exposing the facing material 2 to the outer surface, the above joining is left intact, and in the case of further sticking to finish, the exterior finishing material B is stuck to the outer surface of the facing material 2.
