PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delay time setting system by which sound quality at a listening position can be improved when a controlled sound source and an uncontrolled sound source are used at the same time. SOLUTION: A prescribed signal for measuring a delay time is outputted from a sound source 50 for measuring the delay time, and the corresponding sound waves are radiated in an acoustic space in a car room from a loudspeaker 32. When the prescribed signal is outputted from the sound source 50 for measuring a delay time and a corresponding detection signal is outputted from a microphone 14, a delay time calculating/setting part 52 obtains a frequency characteristic and a grouped delay time characteristic of sound pressure levels based on the detected signal. Next, the delay time calculating/setting part 52 obtains a delay time t1 at a frequency f1 at the boundary position between a controlled frequency band and an uncontrolled frequency band based on the grouped delay time characteristic, and calculates the difference τ=T1-t1 between a known delay time value T1 from the loudspeaker 20 up to the microphone 14 and the delay time t1, and sets a delaying unit 26 to this difference τ as the delay time thereof. |
