<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and network for allowing a computer to select the set of printer driver setting for a specific print application. SOLUTION: In one embodiment of this invention, a computer preliminarily stores the sets of printer driver setting. A label indicating the general configuration of the set of printer driver setting is attached to each set of printer driver setting, and the list of the labels is prepared by the computer. The computer retrieves the stored sets of printer driver setting for extracting the matched sets according to the selected label. The matched sets of printer driver setting are extracted through a network from the memory unit of the computer or the other computer, and used as the present printer driver setting for a print application.</p> |
