PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure regenerator of an absorbing freezer machine having a structure showing no possibility of a large-sized device and increasing in weight and further capable of reducing deformation caused by a load of pressure. SOLUTION: There is provided a high pressure regenerator of an absorbing freezer machine constituted into an integral closed structure in which an upper barrel and a lower barrel are connected by a forward barrel plate and a rearward barrel plate and a right side plate and a left side plate are fixed to them. A lateral rib is extended over the barrel plates in a lateral direction, thereby an amount of deformation caused by a load of pressure generated under an inner pressure approximating to vacuum at the time of stopping operation is remarkably reduced, a large-sized formation of the device and increasing in its weight are not accompanied by it, an excessive deformation generated at the high pressure regenerator can be prevented and so occurrence of high stress as well as influence against inner equipment is eliminated.
