<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack that can surely prevent swell of each square battery cell composing a compound battery. SOLUTION: Compound batteries 10 laminating each square battery cell 11 that constitutes a flat plate in the thickness direction are horizontally accommodated in a compound battery case 20. Provided on the compound battery 10 are a pair of confining plates 12 each colliding against the square battery cell 11 located at both ends, respectively, in the laminated direction. So as to push all the square battery cells 11 between them, the paired confining plates 12 are mutually connected by means of connecting rods 13 disposed at the upper or lower part of these square battery cells 11.</p> |
