PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way transmission system that can stably be in operation even under a deteriorated environment such as the inside of a vehicle and inexpensively be configured. SOLUTION: In the two-way transmission system where information is sent through an optical fiber 3 between a center terminal 6 and local terminals 5 and an information quantity sent from the cener terminal to each local terminal is less than the information quantity sent from each local terminal to the center terminal, a multiplexer means 9 multiplexes the information sent from the center terminal to each local terminal in a form of an electric signal, an E/O converter 11 converts the multiplexed electric signal into an optical signal, a photocoupler 4 distributes the optical signal to each local terminal and the information delivered from each local terminal to the center terminal is transmitted by using each exclusive optical fiber. The information can stably be sent in two-way even under a deteriorated environment and the system can inexpensively be built up. |
