PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To classify and store received telephone numbers by an easy operation to use them as telephone numbers for originating calls. SOLUTION: A line terminal device is provided with a telephone number detection part which detects a telephone number coming from a telephone line, an operation part which indicates the assignment of the detected telephone number to one of a plurality of groups, a memory where the assigned telephone number and the classification are stored correspondingly to each other, and a lamp capable of multi-color display, and the color of lamp is changed to indicate which group the received telephone number belongs to at the time of call incoming, and thus a called subscriber can easily recognize that a call from a specific group has arrived. When a stored telephone number is used to originate a call, telephone numbers are displayed by classifications to facilitate retrieval. |
