PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet bowl and toilet equipment getting along without a broad possessory space and facilitating the movement to the toilet bowl from a wheel-chair at a low cost as the toilet bowl and toilet equipment for the aged or the physically handicapped using the wheel-chair. SOLUTION: The toilet bowl 22 placed in a toilet booth 10 is formed in a symmetrical shape as a bilateral direction sitting toilet capable of sitting in either right or left direction of a posture. A handrail 20 is set backward of the toilet bowl 22. The handrail 20 is set in such a form as to extend to both right and left directions in the back of the toilet bowl 22, and it is so formed that both right and left directional ends are curved forward.
