<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously change a print size with simple constitution. SOLUTION: A print size changing section is disposed as a drive region selecting means. When the image data from respective image memories is the largest print size, this image data is sent as it is to a data conversion circuit. In such a case, the drive region of a DMD 2 is Al where all micromirrors are selected and color paper 35 is subjected to printing exposure at the print size indicated by B1. In the case of the reduced print size, the image data is thinned according to the reduced print size and is converted to the image data corresponding to the drive region of the DMD 2. In the case of the reduced print size, the drive region of the DMD 2 is A2 where part of the micromirrors are selected and the color paper 35 is subjected to printing exposure at the print size indicated by B2.</p> |
