<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail server system that can deliver a message to a terminal user by using any substitute method at interruption of power to a reception terminal or even in the case that a radio wave does not reach the user. SOLUTION: At least any of a mail address of a transfer destination, a contact telephone number, a contact facsimile number, and a pocket beeper number is registered in advance in a database 24 in preparation for the case that mail transmission to a mobile terminal 214 is not successful. The electronic mail system is provided with a voice synthesis section 25 that converts contents of a mail into a voice, a facsimile transmission section 26 that visualizes the contents of the mail into an image and transmits the image, and a dial signal generating section 27 that converts the contents of the mail into a dial signal. In the case that a terminal to receive a mail cannot receive the mail, message of the mail is transmitted to a substitute communication unit depending on the registration number in the database 24.</p> |
