PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the robbery prevention performance while surely receiving and giving paper moneys without complicating the structure by separating a paper money processing part to be operated by a customer and a storage part for paper moneys determined to accept. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a paper money processing part 2 for performing processing for conveying paper moneys inserted by the customer to the storage part according to amount approval after temporary hold or returning these paper moneys according to non-approval by feeding and identifying the paper moneys one by one, this paper money processing part and the storage part for accepting and storing the paper moneys received by the paper money processing part are separated with a partition wall, and this partition wall is provided with window holes 25 and 26 for passage for circulating paper moneys between the paper money processing part and the storage part.
