PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular chip fingerprint recognition sensor which uses a CMOS(complementary metal oxide film semiconductor) and a method of manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The sensor comprises a CMOS image sensor 30, a transparent electrode layer 32 installed on the top of the CMOS image sensor, a luminescent layer 34 installed on the top of the transparent electrode layer and having phosphor particles 42 and a binder 44, a dielectric layer 36 installed on the top of the luminescent layer, and a contamination resistant film 38 installed on the top of the dielectric layer. |
