PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating shaft coupling device capable of effectively using the pressure of hydraulic fluid supplied into a liquid chamber of a hydraulic joint compared with a conventional device, and applying required press- contact force between a flange hub and a follower side shaft with lower hydraulic pressure. SOLUTION: A cylindrical body 40 is fixed on the outer peripheral surface of a flange hub 2 so as to be liquid tight at axial both ends, and a liquid chamber 41 of a hydraulic joint 4 is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 40 and the outer peripheral of the flange hub 2, thereby directly applying hydraulic pressure in the liquid chamber 41 on the flange hub to deform and contract. Therefore, as compared with a conventional hydraulic joint provided with an expanded wall, pressure for deforming the expanded wall is not required, so that the flange hub 2 and a follower shaft 3 can be coupled with necessary force by lower hydraulic pressure. |
