PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for performing access through a network to a dynamic information source. SOLUTION: This is a method and device for performing access through a network to a dynamic information object. In one embodiment, the dynamic information object, that is, a note is realized as the object of a work wide web(WWW) which can be accessed through an Internet by plural users. The users can correct the contents of the note by a simple way, for example, by using a set of commands or a graphical user interface. The note has multi-mode access capabilities, and therefore the users can perform access to the note by using arbitrary one of plural different types of communication devices. Thus, a group of users can use the note in the similar way to a way the group of users use a notice board for communicating with each other. Moreover, the users can easily perform access to the note hardly regardless of the physical position and/or the communication device to be used.
