PURPOSE: A traction driving rotary assembly and a method for manufacturing rolling elements thereof are provided to increase output from rolling elements, and to improve traction by forming a recess and an upper flat land. CONSTITUTION: A rotary assembly(1) for traction driving is composed of plural rolling elements having a rotating shaft and traction contact surfaces around the rotating shaft. The output is transmitted between the rolling elements through traction oil film formed between traction contact surfaces, and the rolling elements are connected to each other. The fine structure having an irregular part is formed in the traction contact surface, and the size of the irregular part is formed to be larger than the thickness of the traction oil film. The traction driving rotary assembly is manufactured with processing protrusions and the traction contact surfaces during lapping, cutting and grinding. Output is increased between the rolling elements, and traction efficiency is improved. |
