<p>A tool for trimming spectacle frames to size, particularly the side arms, comprising a work-piece holder (6) with a linear bore (7) for guiding the curved end (4) of a spectacle frame arm. At one end of the bore is provided a peeling device (5) and at the other end , a cutting device (8). The peeling device automatically grips the curved end and ensures the correct length. The cutting device allows a coarse thread to be cut on the shortened end (2) of the side arm : The cutting device and the plastics peeler are replaceable units.</p> |
