The present invention relates to pharmaceutically active steroid derivatives with an additional ring annulated to ring A, to pharmaceutical compositions comprising and to the use of these compounds for the preparation of medicaments. More particularly it has been found that the described steroids of the invention can be used for regulating meiosis.
