<p>A thin actuator for use to carry a head, for example, of a magnetic disk drive is provided which is capable of stable operation. An actuator includes a movable part formed integrally of a coil (1), a holding member (2), a housing (3), and flat terminals (5a, 5b) by resin molding. The flat terminals (5a, 5b) are attached to the holding member (2) in the direction (6) in which the coil moves. Connections (7a, 7b) provided on ends of conductors of a flexible circuit board (7) are brought into contact with the flat terminals (5a, 5b) and soldered together for electrical connections.</p> |
