The device (1) consists of a light monition with a firing arrangement or a firework body or small rocket with a starter. It has an ignition device and is mounted on a vehicle so that it can be activated very quickly by the driver in the event of a hazard arising suddenly, e.g. an impending mass accident on the motorway.
