PURPOSE: A sandwich panel is provided to reduce the weight thereof, to improve the acoustic absorption property and the heat shield property, and to increase the mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION: A two-dimensional fabric layer(12) constituting both surfaces of a sandwich panel(10), and a vertical fabric(14) for connecting the two-dimensional fabric layers are assembled to form a three-dimensional fabric structure(16), and an inner space layer(18) is defined between the two-dimensional fabric layers. The inner space layer improves the acoustic absorption property and the heat shield property of the sandwich panel as well as reduces the whole weight of the sandwich panel. Also, the mechanical strength of the sandwich panel is reinforced due to the connection structure between the two-dimensional fabric layers and the vertical fabric. After that, by impregnating three-dimensional fabric structure with high molecular resin and hardening it, the sandwich panel is completed. The high molecular resin is selected among thermosetting resin and thermoplastic resin according to the required property of the sandwich panel.
