PURPOSE: A fuel heating device of an internal combustion engine is provided to protect an electric/electronic system of a combustion engine by heating fuel using surplus heat of engine oil. CONSTITUTION: A fuel heating device for an internal combustion engine comprises: a heat exchange chamber(71) having an inlet(71a) and an outlet(71b) to be connected in the middle of a fuel pipe(8); a flow velocity control unit(72) having an inlet side swirl generating member(72a), a helical member(72e), and an outlet side swirl generating member(72b); a fuel particle activating unit(73) having a front magnet(73a) attached on the front face of the inlet side swirl generating member and a rear magnet(73b) attached on the rear face of the outlet side swirl generating member; and a heating pipe(74) formed by winding a heating part(74a) on the circumference of the heat exchange chamber and connecting both ends of the heating part to an engine oil pump in an engine oil tray. Herein, fuel is supplied after being heated by the engine oil of 80-100deg.C. Therefore, smoke in combustion, noise of engine and fuel consumption are reduced. Output is increased and the life of an engine is lengthened.
