PURPOSE: An automatic fire extinguishing apparatus for a gas range is provided to simplify an installing works and to reduce a cost of the products by coupling a protect cap including a fire extinguishing liquid injecting nozzle, a temperature sensing sensor and a fire extinguishing apparatus driving sensor to a waste integrally. CONSTITUTION: An automatic fire extinguishing apparatus comprises a check valve(2), a pipe(3), a driving sensor(8), a heat sensor(6) and a protection cap(7). The check valve(2) is coupled and communicated with an inside of a fire extinguisher waste. One end of the pipe(3) is connected to a projecting nozzle(4), and the other end thereof is connected releasably to the check valve(2). The driving sensor is informed a driving of the extinguisher to a control panel. The heat sensor(6) is pushed and constituted so that a projecting inlet of the projecting nozzle(4) is sealed with a low melting alloy, and an operating lever(81) of the driving sensor(8) is adhered closely to the inside of the protecting cap(7). One end of the protecting cap(7) is surrounded and fixed to the fire extinguisher waste(1), and the other thereof is fixed to the heat sensor. The protecting cap has a suction port(711) and an exhaust port(721). If the low melting alloy is melted to by a temperature, an extinguishing liquid is projected by opening the projecting port of the projecting nozzle, and the operating lever of the driving sensor is activated by separating the heat sensor from the operating lever.
