POWER STEERING COLUMN DEVICE OF ELECTRIC MOTOR IN VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A power steering column device of an electric motor in a vehicle is provided to detect changed amount of a sleeve and to reduce errors and production cost for improving productivity. CONSTITUTION: A power steering column device comprises a steering column housing(40) forming a frame of a column device by being connected to a steering wheel; an input shaft(21) inputting rotation force of the steering wheel by being arranged on upper side of inside of the steering column housing; an output shaft(25) outputting the rotation force; a torsion bar(22) connecting a lower middle portion of the input shaft to an upper middle portion of the output shaft; a sleeve(23) moving up and down while rotating as a spiral shape; a sliding block(35) moving up and down along an inner wall of a housing(40) by being engaged with a peripheral face of the sleeve; and a potentiometer(39) detecting twisted amount of the torsion bar. The potentiometer senses movement of the sliding block by penetrating the housing.
