DRIVING SHAFT SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR SCROLL COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A driving shaft support structure for scroll compressor is provided to simplify the structure and reduce manufacturing cost by removing the lower frame supporting the driving shaft. CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor includes a driving motor(4) having a stator(4A) fixed into a casing(100), and a driving shaft(200) which is press fit into the center of a rotor(4B) disposed inside of the stator. The driving shaft has an upper end inserted into the through hole formed at an upper frame, and a lower end inserted into a shaft housing(121) of the casing. The casing includes a main casing(110) and a lower cap(120) for covering the lower end of the main casing. The lower cap has a central portion which is bent to allow the shaft housing to have a predetermined depth, and a bearing(300) is mounted onto the bottom surface of the shaft housing so as to reduce friction between the bottom surface of the shaft housing and the lower end surface of the driving shaft. The shaft housing has an oil flow groove formed at the inner periphery of the shaft housing so as to allow the oil contained in the casing to pass through the gap between the inner periphery of the shaft housing and the outer periphery of the driving shaft and flow into an oil flow channel(210).
