ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

PURPOSE: An electrical connection is provided to prevent a minute crack on a contact pad or ceramic substrate from being generated by thermal stress occurring at a welding point when a metal band is coupled to the contact pad on the ceramic substrate, by including a conductive material of an electrical band type which has a contact layer including noble metal disposed on the ceramic substrate. CONSTITUTION: The contact layer(2) is thinner than the band-type conductive material. The band-type conductive material has at least two layers(3,4) having different thicknesses and different electrical resistivity. The first layer(3) facing the contact layer has a material of lowest electrical resistivity. An electrical connection between the band-type conductive material and the contact layer is made by a gap welding method.
