PURPOSE: An electronic medicine prescription system and a service method thereof are provided to increase the convenience of a patient by transmitting a medical prescription to a drug store at which the patient wants to buy medicine, by enabling the patient to receive the prescription filled in the drug store. CONSTITUTION: A doctor in charge inputs basic information on a relevant patient and makes a request for information on the patient to a server system(S101). The server system searches whether the information on the patient is made a database(S102). The server system judges whether the information is searched(S103). The information on the patient and the patient's prescription are made out(S104). The server system transmits the information to the doctor's PC(S105). The doctor makes out the prescription(S106). The prescription is transmitted to the server system and outputted to a printer(S107). The doctor signs and seals the prescription(S108). The prescription is scanned through a scanner and displayed(S109).
