PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the contamination of hair, when a pig for meat is processed into the meat. SOLUTION: Before subjected to a skinning work, a slaughtered pig 11 is suspended with a hook 16, and then the hair of the suspended pig is burned in a burning portion 14. As a previous step for the work in the burning portion 14, a drying portion 13 is disposed to dry the hair of the pig 11. Furthermore, as a post-step for the work in the burning portion 14, a washing portion 15 is disposed to wash out the burnt hair.
