PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a readily handleable complex containing a Lewis acid, capable of promoting a reaction in an aqueous medium, simply separable, reusable and gentle to environments and to provide a method for reaction using the complex as a catalyst. SOLUTION: This complex comprises a cyclodextrin or its derivative and a metal perfluoroalkylsulfonate. The method for reaction in the aqueous medium comprises using the complex as the catalyst. |
