PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool capable of efficiently boring a round hole in a member. SOLUTION: The cutting tool comprises a substrate 2 rotating about an axis, cutting edges 5a, 6a provided at the tips of the substrate 2 in the axial direction, and projecting cutting edges 9a, 10a provided in the outer peripheries of the tips of the substrate 2. The cutting edges 5a, 6a are provided from the outer peripheries of the tips of the substrate 2 to the rotation center and tilt on the axial base end side of the substrate 2 gradually from the outer peripheries to the rotation center. The projecting cutting edges 9a, 10a are arranged on the axial tips of the substrate 2 rather than the cutting edges 5a, 6a.
