PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lipase inhibitor having high safety and more superior lipase-inhibiting activities. SOLUTION: This lipase inhibitor contains a plant body of Myrcia sphaerocarpa, Myrcia multiflora or an extract thereof. The pharmaceutical composition for therapy of a disease for which a suppressor of lipid level in the blood, and the inhibition of the lipase activities are effective for the cure, (e.g. obesity, diabetic, hypertension, hyperlipemia, arteriosclerosis and acne) is also provided. |
