PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized and light air conditioner with improved air- conditioning performance. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises: an approximately cylindrical case formed with openings approximately at the center of the upper surface and/or the lower surface; an air blower provided at the center of the case; an evaporator and a heater core respectively arranged in an arc in the ventilating direction surrounding the air blower from upstream side, direction; an air- mixing door between the evaporator and the heater core which slides in the circumferential direction of the case for adjusting the ratio of the air passing through the heater core to the air bypassing the heater core; and plural openings on the side surface of the case.
