PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which improves the bending stiffness by keeping the outer diameter of a mounting device for a vehicle almost same without increasing the diameter of a center part of the mirror stay for a large vehicle, by keeping production cost low. SOLUTION: This mirror stay 6 is integrally structured in such a way that a vertical member 5 nearly vertically consisted with a hollow circular cylinder is laser beam welded a side upward member 3 consisted with a hollow circular cylinder at a weld 1 on its upper part, and is laser beam welded a side downward member 4 consisted with a thick hollow circular cylinder at a weld 2 on its lower part. A diameter of an end part 3a of the side upward member 3 and that of an end part 4a of the side downward member 4 have practically approximately equal size as an external size of the vertical member 5. In this way, the size and weight of a mounting member corresponding to a car body is not increased so as to be advantageous for arranging an external appearance function of the car body.
