PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cutter which is capable of easily trimming the hair even in the trim-up more than the blade width of a cutting blade by effectively utilizing the small blade width of the cutting blade and the small size and good operability as the hair cutter. SOLUTION: Clippers 1 are mounted at a comb member 4 juxtaposed with plural comb teeth 6 which are the contact parts with the head skin and vary in height in such a manner that their heights change gradually so that the clippers 1 are made slidable in the juxtaposition direction of the comb teeth 6 with respect to the comb member 4. The width of the cutting blade 3 part of the clippers 1 is made smaller than the width in the juxtaposition direction of the comb teeth 6 of the comb member 4.
