METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DAMAGE DUE TO RICE PLANT SEED INFECTIOUS DISEASE AND TREATMENT SOLUTION FOR CONTROL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling damage due to rice plant seed infectious diseases which exhibits stable control effect on damage due to rice plant infectious diseases and is considered about the growth specific characteristic of nonpathogenic microorganisms giving slight adverse effect on environments and to obtain a treatment solution suitable for the method for controlling damage due to rice plant seed infectious diseases. SOLUTION: This method for controlling damage due to rice plant seed infectious diseases is a method by which the immersion treatment of rice plant seeds is carried out by the treatment solution containing at least one of microorganisms belonging to the genus Fusarium showing no pathogenicity to rice plants and features that the pH value of the above treatment solution is established out of the optimal growth of rice plant seed infectious pathogenic bacteria. The treatment solution for controlling damage due to rice plant seed infectious diseases is a solution containing the above microorganisms and a pH regulator and the pH value of the treatment solution is established out of the optimal growth of rice plant seed infectious pathogenic bacteria.
