PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive an order of wall paper of desired pattern from a user and to produce a variety of small quantity of ordered wall paper easily. SOLUTION: On the user computer 41, a user, i.e., a general consumer or an installation company 40, browses the images of wall paper pattern stored in the data base (DB) 22 of a server computer 21 located at the headquarter 20 of a wall paper manufacturer through internet 10. Upon receiving an order from the user through the user computer 41, the server computer 21 takes out the image of pattern from the DB 22 and a wall paper printer 23 prints that pattern on a wall paper sheet to produce a desired wall paper for the user. The produced wall paper is delivered to the user by door-to-door courier service. |
