PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a lengthy foamed elastic rod of an acrylic resin excellent in weatherability even without using an extruder. SOLUTION: Acrylic resin plastisol 2 containing a heat-expandable body is discharged at constant flow rate from a nozzle 4 having a small bore diameter onto a flat or grooved releasing carrier 5 moving at a constant speed, and the heat-expandable body is expanded/cured when the carrier passes through an oven 7.
