PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation composition capable of making steroidal anti-inflammatory agents stable with time, thus useful in treating dermatitis or the like. SOLUTION: This external preparation composition is an anhydrous steroidal anti-inflammatory agent composition containing an acrylic acid polymer. The external preparation composition causes no quality deterioration of the steroidal anti-inflammatory agent as base and is good in preservation stability.
