The invented breath-operated inhaler device an actuator body (20), a medicament dispenser (40) being represented by a pressurized container containing the medicament in suspension or in solution in propellant means and medicament delivery outlet means (23) through which medicament is delivered in an airstream in response to inhalation by a user. The actuator body (20) actuates said medicament dispenser (40) for delivery a metered dosage of medicament entrapped in the propellant means in response to user inhalation. The outlet means is provided with an optimization chamber (60) having a mouthpiece (61). The chamber (60) has a volume in the range from 20 ml to 200 ml. |
