<p>The device essentially comprises a vessel (5) containing the liquid into which the plastic waste is introduced, a washing pump (10), a draining drum (12), desiccating means (14) comprising a pressing screw which is adapted to separate well the washed waste from the washing liquid and, possibily, a drying drum (33), supplied by a hot-air blower (29), and a filtering tank (37). A programmable automaton (45) receiving signals from various level and temperature sensors and various operational parameters enables the pre-treatment cycle of the waste to be controlled completely at all its stages. It is associated with a screen (48) for displaying error messages and a control console (49) allowing direct selective intervention at the site of the elements involved.
