<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet (including one in other similar forms such as a tape, label, or the like) excellent in weatherability, which, when used in adhesively attaching a functional film to a display device, does not develop lifting, an air bubble, or the like, at the adhering interface even if exposed under severe conditions such as high temperature conditions of high temperature and high humidity conditions and that can retain good appearance over a prolonged period of time. SOLUTION: The pressure sensitive adhesive sheet has a layer of a pressure sensitive adhesive formed by incorporating a silane coupling agent into an acrylic polymer comprising a homopolymer or copolymer of a monomer composed mainly of an alkyl (meth)acrylate and forming a crosslinked structure with a crosslinking agent, wherein sol in the layer of the pressure sensitive adhesive has a weight average molecular weight of not smaller than 300,000 and contains not greater than 15 wt.% low molecular weight components having molecular weights of not more than 100,000 in molecular weight measurement as determined by gel permeation chromatography.</p> |
