PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely detect the magnitude of the eccentric load of a centrifugal spin dry device and to surely avert the occurrence of abnormal vibration and abnormal noise. SOLUTION: While a rotating speed of a motor 18 is held at a first rotating speed N1 for a specified time, the maximum pulse width Pmax and minimum pulse width Pmin during one rotation period of a drum 20 obtained from a pulse generator 24 are measured in a detection and decision means and the pulse width ratio Pa=Pmax/Pmin thereof is calculated (step S33). This pulse width ratio Pa is compared with a prescribed value P1, by which whether there is a need for making eccentric load correction operation or not is judged (step S34). Namely, if the pulse width ratio Pa is above P1, the uneven distribution of the wash is large and therefore judgment is made that there is a need for dispersing the wash.
